As I write this we are making preparations for my eldest to be married in a few, short days. Talk about epic moments and days of days. We are simply exploding with God’s overwhelming blessing. So before I get too far into this blog let me go back in time a bit. Twenty-seven plus years ago a young lady walked into church and I told the head usher that she would be mine. Bold and presumptuous, I know, but I was twenty years old, hopefully I’ve grown since then. Two years later I was in the McDonalds at the corner of Reilly and Cliffdale with both Tony and Rebecca when someone about my age now came up to me and said to appreciate every moment, seize every opportunity and take every chance because you are going to blink and they are going to be grown. Friends all I did was blink and here I am. My oldest daughter is married and has given me two beautiful grand babies and in a few short days my oldest son will say his, “I do’s”.
